The Irish Radical is an independent student-run publication committed to bringing a radical perspective to politics, society, economics, culture, and art. As the voice of the left at the tri-campus community of the University of Notre Dame, we hope to provide a space for left-wing and activist discourse and organization.
Founded in October of 2023, The Irish Radical publishes all works – essays, poetry, and other visual / artistic representations – across both the tri-campus and South Bend community that promote our values of solidarity, peace, and justice. All are invited to contribute; please use this link for any submission inquires.
Large-scale publications are released intermittently throughout the year, along with a more constant stream of dispatches aimed at disseminating time-sensitive or important news and other information. Physical copies of some of our publications in the form of zines are given out at SolidarityND’s annual Domestock festival, which is held at LangLab, South Bend, often in early April.
